Gloucestershire’s first ever DiAthlete Event

12 Jun 2018, 9:16 a.m.

You are invited to Gloucestershire’s first ever DiAthlete Event run by Gavin Griffiths

DiAthlete Sports Clinics combine type 1 diabetes education with empowerment through fun and sporty sessions. Gavin Griffiths, founder of DiAthlete, leads the sessions and he operates from personal experience in living with T1D himself. Gavin was a London 2012 Olympic Torchbearer and has completed over 70 endurance challenges across 6 continents of the world, including once running 30 marathons in 30 days from John O'Groats to Land's End!

Come and join us to socialise with other patients and families living with type 1 diabetes and banish that negative concept of 'having to be a diabetic' in order to become something much more positive, you are a DiAthlete! More at .http://diathlete.org/
