Description

Yellow cap
Use for Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae PCR urine samples only
Fill the plastic pipette with voided urine to between the two lines
Transfer urine to the transport medium tube
Do not use for virology or routine bacteriology

Notes

Label the specimen with:

Surname
Forename
Date of birth (not age) OR unique identity number (MRN number, NHS number)
