Notes

• This test is only performed following discussion with a Consultant Haematologist
  
• Bethesda assays can only be performed on samples that have a Factor VIII level of less than 10% or <0.1 IU/mL
  
• Test performed at Oxford Haemophilia Centre
  

Sample Requirements

3 x 3ml Trisodium Citrate samples (as shown below)

or 3 x 2.7 ml BD vacutainer tubes

Turnaround Time

Two days (by prior arrangement only)
