Notes
- For the investigation of Anti-phospholipid Syndrome, along with a Lupus Anticoagulant. Should be tested in cases of unexplained, recurrent thromboses, miscarriages, myocardial infarction, and/or neurological symptoms.
- Infections can cause a transient elevation of titres and all positive results should be repeated after 12 weeks for confirmation.
- Currently IgM Cardiolipin is only performed if specifically requested and is sent to a reference laboratory.
