Immunophenotyping: Acute / High Grade Panel

Notes
- This test is used to aid the diagnosis of acute leukaemia and high grade lymphomas.
- Tests are performed by the North Bristol NHS Trust.
- This test would only be added onto a sample following discussion with a Consultant Haematologist. Please note, usually a fresh sample is required.
Sample Requirements
4ml EDTA sample.

Turnaround Time
Turnaround time is dependent on sample type: Whole Blood or Bone Marrow.
The published turnaround time is taken from receipt of the sample in the Bristol laboratory. As this is a send away test, please take in to consideration sample transportation time and that Bristol do not provide routine services on weekends or bank holidays.
Result Interpretation
Interpretative comments are provided on the report by the North Bristol Trust, Specialist Integrated Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Service (SIHMDS).
