The paediatric day unit (PDU) for children is a comfortable child friendly environment, staffed by specialist children's nurses.
At the paediatric day unit, our patients receive care including day surgery, medical investigations and infusions. Our specialist children's team ensure that young patients get the very best care.

Mealtimes and catering
You will be given a choice from a daily menu for all our freshly prepared meals, and hot and cold drinks are served throughout the day. Ward staff will advise you of the meal times, which may vary slightly from ward to ward.
