Important information: works at Cheltenham Lido public car park

Starting next week (from 4 November), the public car park at Cheltenham Lido on Keynsham Road will be undergoing improvement works until April, which may affect patients and visitors, especially Oncology patients, attending appointments. Although this is not a hospital car park, we understand that many patients use this for quick access to this side of the hospital.

For patients undergoing active oncology treatment, please ask your team about an Oncology parking permit, which allows you to park in dedicated parking spaces on site. However, for treatment planning appointments and visits to our Focus Information centre, permits do not apply, please consider the following alternatives:

• Parking is available on site, as shown on our map. For Oncology patients, the car park by East Block may be the closest option
• Some on-street parking is available on Keynsham Road and surrounding roads
• If you’re able, consider taking the 99 bus, which stops outside the hospital on College Road
• If someone else is dropping you, drop-off is available outside the Oncology Centre
