Meet the local Organ and Tissue Donation Committee
At a Glance
Since 2008, every acute trust or hospital board in the UK has established an Organ and Tissue Donation Committee.The role of the organ and tissue donation committee is to champion deceased donation processes and practice within hospital trusts and health boards. Additionally, organ and tissue donation committees have a duty to challenge and seek to overcome local barriers to donation, and promote donation within the local community.

Gloucestershire Hospitals Organ and Tissue Donation committee was formed in 2010 and has been recognised nationally for their commitment and achievements in promoting and supporting organ and tissue donation.
